This business of theatre is magic. And I’m so insanely lucky to have a little space in an office in the rafters of the August Wilson Theatre to write. A room (or shall we say charming cubicle!) of one’s own.
One of the best things is that I rent this little space from Amas Musical Theatre, an organization dedicated to the “creation, development and professional production of new American musicals, the celebration of diversity and minority perspectives, the emergence of new artistic talent, and the training and encouragement of inner-city young people.” Appropriate for writing a new musical? I’ll say! Soaking up the Broadway vibes….
